The Angel Project
The Angel Project has been on my heart for the last 20 years. When I remarried, my husband Bobby has a set of twins, Steven and Stacy. Both have special needs with Stacy needing more assistance. I became their mother and what a journey we have had! They are 29 years old now and Steven has a job and is a volunteer firefighter and has his CNA. Stacy has a small job and keeps our home fires burning when we are on fire calls. With the older siblings, Susan, D'Liesa and Dustin, plus two daughter-in-loves and 2 son-in-loves, and 7 beautiful grandchildren, our life is so blessed beyond measure!
The Angel Project is so special to many of the children that have participated. Many of the children have special needs and them actually knowing that they have a guardian angel brings them peace and sense of security. The joy on their faces when they see the Angels and sit next to them and listen to the stories they tell is priceless!
These portraits were all taken in my studio and are a labor of love. The children and the young ladies that portray the Angels were such a joy to work with. Each child received a CD with 5 completely edited images free. The Angels were given CD's with their portraits and various children. There are several phases of this project and we have completed only one so far. We are still working on the Guardian Angel Series and will be uploading to this site periodically as we finish the portraits.
